Skoda will present its first fully electric vehicle at the Shanghai Motor Show 2017 in China (April 19 to 28), ahead of a few drawings as will be this five-door SUV coupé

Crossovers are hot! The name Crossover means a mix of different types of bodies. In the case of the electric Skoda, which will be called Vision E, it offers a SUV with five doors, but with lines like a Coupé. In fact, a very striking design, attractive and futuristic.

Skoda says that the dimensions will be 4.645 mm long, 1.917 mm wide and 1.550 mm high, plus a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. It is clear that it will be an imposing car, of a certain height, with a very spacious interior.

It will have two electric motors with a total of 225 kW of power, offering a maximum speed of 180 km/h. Its state-of-the-art lithium-ion battery pack, coupled with energy recovery in decelerations and braking, will give a range of 500 kilometers on paper.

The Vision E prototype meets the requirements for level 3 autonomous driving.

Skoda, which will take advantage of the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform, will start with the launch of the ŠKODA SUPERB with a plug-in hybrid motor. The first 100% pure electric vehicle produced in series by ŠKODA will be launched shortly thereafter in 2020. In 2025, the brand will have expanded its range and will include five 100% electric vehicles in various segments
