DID YOU KNOW: The Baker Torpedo from 1902

The first book I wrote about "The History of the Electric Vehicle" called "The Pioneers - 160 km/h and 307 km of range (1870/1906)" is full of surprising information, full of stories about the electric cars, true and contrasted, but sometimes a little bit different to what the general books of automovtive history tell us.

Take, for example, the Baker Electric Torpedo from 1902. You have to read the full story in the book, here we only tell that most of the general books about electric car history of the car only mention - if they do - that there was a Baker electric car in 1902 that could reach 160 km/h and that had a terrible accident on the first ride. But this is only a very small part of the real story, of the truth, and only seen from one angle. In fact, the electric Baker was an extremely interesting, high performance racer with a lot of safety details. We invite you to buy the book, enjoy reading it and wait impatiently for the next one, about to come out - and again full of true stories.

Please remember this book actually only is available in Spanish language; we are looking for contact to international editors who like to prepare this book in other languages. We hope we'll find these people very soon. You can order the book in Spanish contact with us at Prestige Electric Car or ordering it directly on the webside www.historiasdelcoche.com.
