Owning an electric car is getting increasingly affordable, if you live in France. The Bluecar fleet used in the Autolib program, which now boasts 65,000 members, has amassed more than 15 million kilometers, Additionally, there are some 4,000 charging stations in and around Paris and its suburbs.
By buying the car, you are not buying the battery, that you have to rent from the company for €80 a month. Of course, the 'fuel' to charge it is also a separate cost.
