Tucano Lejeko urban bike

The Spanish company Tucano start operation in electric mobility over 8 years ago as a pioneer in Spain in this sector. In recent years the situation has changed considerably with increasing manufacturers of electric models and the growth of stores that offer them.

The Tucano Lejeko, one of the highlights of the range, is different by their unique diagonal framework that directly connects the handlebars to the front wheel. By doing this the bike archieves an appearance of lightness and cleanlines.

It features a 250-watt / 36V brushless motor from 8FUN on the rear wheel, and is powered by a lithium-ion 36V/10Ah battery, which offers a range of 35-70 km depending terrain and type of driving. The battery life is estimated at about two years depending on use or care.

The Lejeko has an on-board computer with LCD screen and 5 levels of aid. It also offers the possibility to install an accelerator for a price of 35 €, to use the bike without pedaling, but this leads to two major drawbacks, accelerated wear of the battery and the bike is not approved for use on urban roads.

The Tucano Lejeko features a Suntour XCT front 30mm fork, front and rear Shinamo disc brakes and a Shinamo 7SP gearbox. Also, for more security at night, the bicycle has front and rear integrated light.

This model is offered in three colors, black and dark gray, and you can get it for a price of 1,480 € by Tucano Bikes.
