YikeBike uses Kickstarter to get funding

    The New Zealand company YikeBike is using Crowdfunding to get funding to produce their new models. YikeBike had proposed to get the $ 100,000 needed to carry producing two new models, the V and C. After several days of campaign and with even 13 days of time has managed to exceed that amount getting a successful campaign financing.



    The model V is constructed of hydrofromed aluminium and composite reinforced polymer. It comes with both the 2 and 3 wheel configurations and these can be simply swapped over with the single screw and tools that are supplied - providing instant satisfaction as well as building the riders confidence. (the 3 wheel configuration is only available on the model V). This model have a range about 14km, 8,7miles, and a battery of 237W/h Lithium ion with 36V nominal. The maximun speed is 23km/h, 14.3mph.

    The model C is the prestigious premium product. Meticulous material preparation and finishing delivers the ultimate in bragging rights. High-tech carbon-fiber construction materials and hand finishing means there are only a few model C’s available to the discerning buyer. The model C is the lightest and most rigid YikeBike the company can offer, with carbon fiber - Frame, Rear Leg, Front Wheel and Handlebar assembly. YikeBike uses the latest Panasonic Lithium Ion batteries offering a range of 20km and regenerative braking. This model have a range about 20km  (12,4miles), and a battery of 313W/h Lithium ion with 36V nominal. The maximun speed is 23km/h (14.3mph).
