After four long years, the Catalan company Volta Motorbikes has finally gotten the financial background and can begin with the production of these electric bikes.

Volta Motorbikes is a Catalan company that has spent four years trying to push through this project to manufacture electric motorcycles. After several failed attempts and lack of investment the compnay has managed to capture the investment needed for the development of its two production models.

After a year of testing and tuning the Volta Motorbikes are ready to tread the streets. These bikes have already been presented at the Barcelona Motor Show this year and the company has been accepting reservations and was looking for distributors worldwide.

Look at these motorcycles, they have a really modern and sporty design that encourages anyone to buy one; further its quality and performance are of the latter. It has its own app to connect the motorcycle with smartphone via Bluetooth with a single click.

Volta Motorbikes offers two models, the sporty Sport and urban BCN BCN City. These two models stand out for their modern finish and high performance by offering a maximum speed of 120km/h and a range of 70 kilometers. This is possible thanks to its 25kW electric motor and its lithium-polymer 3kWh and 74V battery pack which is recharged in just two hours.
