2 CV Paris from Luca Agnelli

Victor Manz Colaborador • 21 Oct, 2016

The welknown Italian bicycle designer Luca Agnelli just created a new iconic vehicle combining the back end of a 1929 Doniselli Duomo with the front end of 1980 Citroën 2 CV. A new cargo tricycle, electric-assist by a Bafang hub motor, is born.

It's called 2 CV Paris. After the huge sensation this cargo tricycle caused when presented, Agnelli actually is looking for the way to produce it in a very small serie... he already has some very interested buyers.

The trike used an electric motor Bafang 36V/250 watt as a rear hub engine, powered by a Panasonic 36V/10Ah battery pack.

The designer tells the biggest challenge was in combine the Citroën nose with the Doniselli frame, without loosing the original design of the 2 CV.

The idea of this cargo trike is very attractive as people can combine an electric urban transport with an important presence of the bike.
