Since Tesla has relinquished its patents related to high-performance batteries and a powerful hardware / software for their cars, ambitious new projects appears promising unique powered high performance sports cars.

At the International Motor Show in Frankfurt, the Taiwanese company Thunder Power presents what could soon be the ultimate electric car: 230-320 kW, a range of 650 km and an acceleration of less than five seconds from 0-100 km/h. With a striking body designed by renowned Italian studio Zagato.

According to the company, this prototype will one day go to production at a competitive price ... and it will be equipped with all the modern technology available, not only relating to the engine but also to the lithium-ion batteries, on board electronics and driving performance and security. Now we have to wait if the promises are fulfilled.
